Our Product
Aloha! Our mission is to serve you the ultimate, handcrafted Hawaiian style & specialty shave ice. We use ultra-purified water to create crystal-clear ice blocks, 100% pure cane sugar (no corn syrup) and our natural fruit juices are custom blended in-house using our own unique recipes. So every shave ice is packed with bold, authentic flavors with balance of sweetness.
Made with care using traditional techniques, our shave ice is finely shaved to soak up all the flavors, creating a smooth, refreshing treat to “make your day fresh”, no matter the season.
We’ve paired the shave ice with a twist on our house made haupia (a light, creamy coconut topping) and soft mochi, all mixed with our signature tropical flavor combinations: Hawaiian Rainbow, Tropical Delight, San Mateo Breeze, Sunset Beach and Big Kahuna.

About Us
At Hawaiian Breeze Shave Ice, our journey began nearly 20 years ago with our very first shave ice experience in Hawaii.
The iconic shave ice together with the beautiful beaches, stunning sunsets, fresh ocean breeze and warm aloha hospitality, made a lasting impression on us, an impression that shines through in naming every item on our menu. We also draw inspiration from my partner’s childhood memories of serving shave ice outdoors in Malaysia.
When the opportunity came in Fall 2024 to participate in the San Mateo Arts and Culture Fest as a pop-up event, we knew it was the perfect time to bring authentic Hawaiian style shave ice to the Bay Area, the kind you’d find on the islands.
Rooted in the Peninsula and the San Francisco Bay Area, we’re excited to open our doors and share our passion for quality desserts and the ultimate shave ice experience with you, right here, beyond the islands!
